GF162 I slim 16×2 line array: 200W, PAT, selectable impedance.
Design Story
As the largest passive line array element in the GF Family, the GF162 compresses true line-array performance into a discreet column built around 16 closely spaced 2" ferrite woofers housed in a recycled ABS enclosure, with IP56 capability when used with the appropriate accessory. Its narrow vertical coverage (7° V / 90° H) and strong directivity are engineered for high intelligibility and controlled dispersion over long distances, making it equally confident with speech and music. Selectable 8Ω/32Ω impedance supports scalable arrays and distributed systems, while pairing with KGEAR GS or GU subwoofers extends low-frequency authority for full-range impact.
Low Impedance
This configuration allows the speakers to be connected directly to an amplifier, offering maximum control over the sound quality. (GF42 and GF82)
High Voltage with Built-in Transformer
This configuration allows the speakers to be used in a 70/100V distributed sound system, where multiple speakers can be connected to a single amplifier. (GF42T, GF82T, GF162T)
Active Versions
These speakers have built-in amplifiers, making them a convenient option for installations where a separate amplifier is not available or where space is limited. (GF22A, GF42A, GF82A)
