The K-array Thunder-KS5P I is a flagship passive subwoofer built with dual long-excursion 21” neodymium woofers (driven by two amplifier channels) to deliver extreme, omnidirectional low-end for large-scale professional sound reinforcement.
Design Story
Engineered as a dual-channel powerhouse, the KS5P I uses a 2×21” architecture with external DSP-controlled crossover flexibility, reaching up to 145 dB peak SPL while staying controlled and musical. Rugged details like IP54 protection and dual SpeakON NL4 connectivity make it deployment-ready for demanding venues, while the K-array ecosystem supports streamlined system design and management at scale via K-framework3.

Crafted for Heavy Touring
The Thunder Series subs are built with a choice of Finnish birch plywood so it lightweight and incredibly resistant, making it the perfect speaker for audio rentals.The new polyurea paint and the cataphoresis treatment for the front grill, further treated with powder coating, also give greater resistance to the harsh weather environments often experienced on the road.
