Design Story
Edge 7i is engineered as the performance benchmark of Amina’s plaster-up Edge range, using a precision 0.7 mm raised ridge as a natural stop bead so finishes feather cleanly into tape-and-joint walls and ceilings for a truly invisible result. Built around Amina’s proprietary exciters with Optidrive®, Opti-damping®, Reduced Resonance Exciter® and ToneRelief® panel design, it’s tuned for greater scale and extended low-frequency reach—bringing weight and presence while maintaining the series’ smooth, balanced character. Designed for high-power distributed audio and surround systems, it can be installed in dryline construction, retrofitted with a skim coat, or hidden behind acoustically transparent materials, with optional 70/100V transformer support.

Versatile Installation Simplicity
Designed to replace a small section of plasterboard/drywall, our Edgei speaker range is designed to be taped and joined in the same way that tapered board is installed and finished. The entire wall/ceiling is then painted and decorated, making the invisible speakers for drywall completely invisible.
