Design Story

ALF100CV was designed to bring high-output sub-bass into cavities without shaking the building, using a fail-safe mounting system that mechanically isolates the enclosure to minimize vibration transfer and preserve clean, controlled bass. Its mounting architecture spans 400–600 mm stud/joist centers and fits 115 mm+ cavity depths, making it ideal for concealed ceiling and wall installs, or placement behind kickboards, inside cabinetry, or under seating. For consistent results, it’s optimized with straightforward DSP—28 Hz high-pass (48 dB/oct) and low-pass at or below 120 Hz—while the amplifier is power-limited to 200W RMS @ 4Ω for protection.
