QUIVO is a Mediterranean-influenced restaurant and bar with an elegant chic design. This hidden gem evokes prestige with a colour scheme that accentuates a playful atmosphere. It also offers a semi-outdoor seating area with a space for live music performances.
Quivo required a comprehensive audio and lighting solution to support both an outdoor live performance stage and the surrounding dining areas. To meet these needs, a carefully selected combination of K-array and Frog-Is products was implemented to serve each application effectively. In line with the client’s brief, the live performance stage features a large LED screen that had to remain completely unobstructed. To achieve this, a pair of K-array Kobra-KK102 loudspeakers and a K-array Rumble-KU210 subwoofer were strategically positioned on either side of the stage. The slim profile of the KK102 blends seamlessly with the stage aesthetics, while the addition of the KU210 subwoofer provides ample power and a full-range frequency response suitable for both live music and DJ performances. Portable and highly capable Frog-Is FP8 full-range loudspeakers were also deployed as stage monitors for the artists. Complementing the audio setup, a complete lighting system was installed, comprising professional lighting fixtures, twelve LED PAR cans, and Sunlite Suite 2 lighting control software. For the dining areas, a combination of K-array Vyper-KV52 and Frog-Is SM54 loudspeakers were discreetly installed at key locations to deliver an immersive musical ambience for patrons.
